the parachute un folds as con text iles scripted cloth and politicised gesture it is both the simple and the complex within the sublime nature of thought wherein we envision a hybrid environment—a performative poetic and politicized gesture un bound and adrift through layers of materiality and meaning. from military wear to fashion wear the parachute presents a rich and diverse palette in which to create a work that implies social commentary through poetic content and creative interpretation, mindful of history but neither bound by it.
